Our Terms and Conditions
We ask for a 30% non refundable deposit to be paid at the time of booking to secure the date. With any remaining balances paid at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.
If your event is postponed for whatever reason including Covid-19 then booking fees are non-refundable. The booking fees will be transferred over to your new date provided the date is available.
If the balance for the booking has not been paid within the specified time then we have the right to cancel the booking and withhold the above mentioned booking fee.

Payments can be made to our account by BACS or Credit Card – If agreed (An additional fee for credit card payments will apply)
Any cancellations must be received to us in writing and the following cancellation charges will apply:
Deposit Fees are non-refundable
More than 90 days from the date of the event – 33% of the agreed fee
Less than 60 days from the date of the event – 66% of the agreed fee
Less than 30 days from the date of the event – the full agreed fee
Cancellations must be made in writing and cancellation charges must be paid within 7 days of the cancellation.
Changes to this contract.
Any changes to the booking must be notified in writing and agreed prior to our arrival on the event day.
Any changes to the event times, duration or service and additional products will be subject to additional fees.
In the event of us being prevented from traveling to the event or serving outside due to inclement weather conditions, such as rain, wind and snow or any circumstances beyond our control, then the full fee shown, shall still be payable.
It is advisable you have a plan B and C is in place prior to our attendance.
Access and Safety for the unloading and positioning of our tuk tuk and ice cream cart.
The venue has the required access and area required to allow our equipment to be set up safely.
The area where our equipment is to be set up is clean and clear from anything that may cause injury or damage to our equipment or participators.
We reserve the right to refuse our services if we believe the venue is unsuitable or unsafe.
We will NOT be held responsible for any obstruction, nuisance, or interference of the event.
Our ice cream cart is very heavy therefore please bare this in mind when considering a possible location. No stairs.
Please ensure that any doorways, access points and lifts are at least 1.1 metres wide and 2 metres long if hiring the ice cream cart or 2 meters wide and 3.5 meters long if hiring the tuk tuk.
All our vehicles and operatives will be immaculately presented. Our Tuk Tuk holds a current five star food hygiene certificate issued by the local regulatory authority and Public Liability insurance up to 5 million.
We understand the complexities of the day and timings involved and our staff are likely to arrive slightly earlier than the specified arrival. Any subsequent delay in accessing our services will not be deemed to be the responsibility of Booja-Booja Events and the hire period starts and ends at the agreed times on the booking. The ice cream van will depart at the specified departure time as recorded in your confirmation email.
No responsibility will be taken for any loss or damage to any personal possession of any guest of the hirer. Unless negligence or recklessness can be proven. Every effort will be made by our staff to reunite any property found to be the members of the Hirer’s party.
Booja-Booja Events cannot be held responsible for any adverse medical reaction or allergy to anything consumed or subsequently later or any injury or loss caused through excess consumption of our products. A written warning sign will be displayed in relation to gluten and nut allergies. We have never knowingly had our products near any dairy and always advise that any guest who have any allergies notifies and checks with staff of Booja-Booja Events before consumption.
Booja-Booja Events may take photographs for their own promotional use, they may appear on our social media sites and by signing these conditions the Hirer has given Booja-Booja Events permission to do so.
We reserve the right to amend our terms and Conditions at any time. But only the agreed terms at the time of signing are applicable.
